While working the red carpet for Lionsgate's The Eye, SpookyDan had the chance to chat with writer-directors David Moreau and Xavier Palud about the progress on their remake of Them, now rumored to be titled Six. They tell us that they've taken the screenplay to some big name producers in order to get the film moving. From our experience it sounds like there has been a major back pedal, but they are eager to do the film as they admit they weren't happy with the original, Ils, which follows a duo trapped in a house as they're tormented by six intruders. In addition, they expressed ZERO interest in directing a sequel to The Eye, which comes as no surprise as Patrick Lussier came in and completed the film. The Eye opened at the #2 spot with an estimated $13 million.
im not even joking, they should remake the remake of the eye. Alba is a piss-poor actress and the original is just so damn good that it doesnt even deserve that kinda treatment.
don't remake this movie its a classic leave it the hell alone
