The Weinstein Company/Dimension Films just sent me a 2008 preview that lists Greg McLean's giant croc movie Rogue for release (finally) this spring! No official date was given, but we'll keep you posted. They also list their (and MGM's) adaptation of The Road for release fourth quarter 2008. The story centers on a man who embarks on a nightmarish road trip after a nuclear explosion in an attempt to transport his son to safety while fending off cannibals. Keep your eyes posted here for updates.
I hope Rogue is good and worth all this unnecessary wait. How many friggin' Primeval's and Lake Placid's do we have to sit through before we see a scary and realistic croc flick. They should just give us 2 hours of real crocs grabbing wildebeests by the head and flipping them backwards into the water. Lunchtime!!!
