anyone who would accept a new person playing Freddy, simple isn't a pure Nightmare on Elm st fan.
Why are they remaking a movie that has shelf life? I mean, if they went ahead and made another Freddy movie, based on a story that might not actually play as a sequel, but not as a remake, would it not still make the same amount of money?
This is horse shit, and England must of been paid a lot of money to endorse the idea of a remake cause I do not. If they remake the movie as a pure remake, then Im not seeing it, esspecially if England isn't in it, this isn't a Hellraiser, or a Romero movie, people know who Freddy is, this movie would be the "new Freddy movie" not the "oh did you hear about this new movie?' cause everyone already know who he is, and this is why Friday the 13th remake is better because there not straight up remaking it, there putting a new story into the same story line, while at the same time playing as a remake. They should of done the same thing for this and the same for Halloween, these people must have no respect to remake movie after movie as artist as it's just not very creative.
