There's nothing I appreciate more than a studio who knows exactly what they're selling and doesn't try and trick you into buying. Such the case with Fox Home Video's direct-to-video release of Lake Placid 2, which looks like one helluva a cheesy fun ride. Today Fox sent us a hilarious promo with a ton of footage from the DVD release, which is now in retailers everywhere. Check it out at BDTV. Years after two 30 foot prehistoric crocodiles are captured and killed in Maine, the local sheriff teams up with an EPA agent, a female Fish and Wildlife agent and a big game hunter, to kill four blood-thirsty offspring of the original killer crocs.
I got an early copy of the DVD, I didn't see it on Sci-Fi and I am glad, the unrated has a little more value, if you know what I mean, I agree that is a cheesy sequel and I am glad to have it in my collection.
