Yeah, stupid writers' strike, saving us from the profound mediocrity of a remake and a bad 'original' idea stolen from Grindhouse!

The only bad news here is that the Hellraiser remake is still going to come to fruition.

I'm bummed that Trailer Trash is still being talked about. It sounds completely stupid. When will Roth give us something truly original? He's becoming the Tarantino of horror...that is to say, someone with talent, who wastes it by ripping off (or I guess overly paying homage) to films he enjoys, with little regard to making his own original concepts and films. QT and Eli are hot now, but 20, 30 years down the road, neither will be taken seriously in cinematic discussions and neither will be seen as pioneers like those they mimic are.
