Today Genius products released the full specs for the March 25th DVD release of The Mist (review), which arrives in a single disc and a two-disc collector’s edition. On both the single and two-disc you'll find: Audio commentary by writer/director Frank Darabont, Eight deleted scenes with optional commentary, and “A Conversation With Stephen King and Frank Darabont” featurette; the two-disc exclusively carries: “When Darkness Came: The Making of The Mist” featurette, “Taming the Beast: Shooting Scene 35” featurette, “Monsters Among Us: A Look at the Creature FX” featurette, “The Horror of It All: The Visual FX of The Mist” featurette and “Drew Struzan: Appreciation of an Artist” featurette.
I hope it has and alterate ending because the one I saw sucked. Even the novella ended better than this flick. SPOILER ALERT I did like seeing the women and her kids in the back of the armey truck giving him the I told you so look as the truck went by. I guess he should have walked a lady home.

The Mist was one of the better horror movies of 2007. It looks like Blockbuster has a $1.99 coupon for any rental on their cool THE MIST dvd release site http://www.themistmoviedvd.com including a fun game to play. It looks like The Mist releases on Tuesday, March 25th. If you like Stephen King and horror movies, you have to see this one.
