This is quite possibly the biggest news we've ever reported in the history of Bloody-Disgusting. We learned from a well-trusted insider that the brilliant Paul Thomas Anderson - who is looking like a solid contender for an Oscar with his astounding film There Will Be Blood - is seriously contemplating making his next project a HORROR film. As of right now the project is just a thought that has yet to be put down on paper, but hopefully in the next few months or so a decision will be made. Spread the word and let him know you want to see it! Anderson has directed such classics as Boogie Nights and Magnolia. B-D will be rooting for Anderson as this year's Academy Awards (assuming they happen).
Wait ... wait ... I'm sorry ... I fell out of my chair from laughing so hard at the "the biggest news we've ever reported in the history of Bloody-Disgusting" bit ... what was the news?
maybe not the "biggest news",but "there will be blood" was astounding, even though some dipsh*t on here doesnt think so.....(i dont mean the people who've already posted)
I think this is considered 'probably' the biggest news B-D has reported because an accomplished director is planning to dabble in the horror genre. Anyone remember when Kubrick did this? Indeed, a masterpiece called The Shining was the result.
Absolutely pathetic. PTA's gonna get an Oscar and all he can think about is dabbling in the spooky kid genre? Horror right now is like one of the many dead prostitutes in Ben Affleck's trailer, only everyone in Hollywood has started fucking it.
Wow, AICN spoke directly with Anderson and it turns out this "biggest news we've ever reported" ended up being complete bullshit and was "news to me" to Anderson.
Unless, of course, you guys got mixed up and reported about Paul W.S. Anderson's next project. Which, may, in fact, be horror...but really, who cares? Might need to check your sources a little better next time, before declaring a glaring lie as being "the biggest news we've ever reported".
News, I like to think, must be factual. Unless of course, you want to run the Internet's first horror tabloid.
