Liza Lapira has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' Repossession Mambo alongside Forest Whitaker and Jude Law. She’ll play a hip anesthesiologist. Lapira recurs on “NCIS” and “Law & Order: SVU,” and she’ll next be seen in “21” alongside Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth. Repossession Mambo is a high-budget rip-off of Darren Lynn Bousman and Lionsgate's Repo! The Genetic Opera. Morality tale is set in the near future, when artificial organs can be bought on credit, with the understanding that defaulting on payment will result in a fatal repossession.
agreed. very bold of them. correct me if im wrong, but isnt Repo! the genetic opera coming out beofre this? who the hell would want to go see a bad version of a film when a better version just came out a month or so before?
