B-D rader 'AA' dropped us a line today with a link to what looks like the first ever trailer for Dead Like Me direct-to-video feature film, which is based on Showtime's series that ran for two seasons. If you head on over to BDTV you can take a peak at the trailer and see if it meets your fancy. When Calvin Kane, a slick businessman who couldn't care less about helping the newly dead, takes over Rube's Head Reaper duties, all hell breaks loose, bringing out the worst in Daisy, Roxy, and Mason. George, however, is determined to set her latest, botched reap right, especially because the boy who was supposed to die, Hudson Hart, is her little sister Reggie's secret boyfriend. In the process, George and Reggie re-connect for real, for the first time.
i loved this show and was so bummed when it went off the air after just two seasons. don't really like the fact daisy has been replaced and no rube, but i'll see the movie.
Prolly wont be as good as the show, but i'll see it just to see how the story ends.
