EXCLUSIVE
Theatrical Poster For Adam Green's 'Spiral'

This evening Hatchet director Adam Green gave us your first peek at the official poster for his second feature, Spiral, which will hit limited theaters February 8 before hitting DVD on February 19 from Anchor Bay. Co-directed and starring Joel David Moore, as a reclusive telemarketer, whose dysfunctional friendship with his boss (Zachary Levi) is alleviated when a whimsical co-worker (Amber Tamblyn) enters his life. But as he begins to sketch his new friend's portrait, disturbing feelings from his past threaten to lead him down a path of destruction. Read on for the poster.

SpookyDan writes in that while Spiral is not a traditional horror film, fans of Green will certainly see his mark in this quiet and disturbing film. But be certain this is not a comedic gore-fest like Hatchet, In Greens words “It’s a stylized, arthouse, Hitchockian psychodrama”. And having seen the film… I would have to agree.

Spiral will be getting a limited theatrical run on February 1st, and then hits DVD on the 18th. We will keep you updated when theaters are announced, but expect the major markets to get it.

Same here, the poster is pretty lame but I really want to see this movie.

The DVD art is actually better, for once.

I'll have to agree, that poster is rather plain. The dvd cover art makes me want to see the film a helluva lot more than that dull poster does. Isn't that the point of a poster? To rouse people's interests to see the film?

i think it's actually a kinda cool poster. it reminds me of a 60's or 70's Hitchcock film poster and I think that's what they were going for
