This is a pretty awesome week for new DVD releases as there are loads of options arriving at a retailer near you. Tomorrow you can finally pick up Fox Searchlight's creepy Joshua or maybe you want the next-gen Event Horizon in Danny Boyle's Sunshine? Even Universal is finally releasing White Noise 2 on DVD after an entire year delay. Whatever you're looking for it's going to be out there... read on for the full list.

ADDICTION: Brain Damage

After accidentally killing a mugger in self-defense, a mild mannered businessman has trouble reconciling the flood of emotions he has become engorged with rage, excitement, joy and even lust. These feelings soon blossom into a deadly addiction of desire, desperation and total dependence, which is simply a desperate rush that he cannot live without.

THE EXPEDITION: Brain Damage

This film is based on the true events that occurred on October 31st, 2004 in Saratoga County. Five Canadian filmmakers set out on a supernatural expedition to film a documentary on the Saratoga Homestead Asylum. Unfortunately, only four of the crew members exited the building the next morning. New Blood Entertainment compiled and edited all actual footage with re-enacted sequences to reveal in detail what occurred on that cold Halloween night.

JOSHUA: Fox

PURGATORY: York

Jack, Bobby and Alex are on a dirt-biking vacation in the remote canyons of the Mojave south of Palm Springs, unaware that this part of the desert is the main route for illegal immigrants who are making a desperate run to the U.S. Riding alone out in this endless maze of canyons, miles from civilization, the three city boys stumble across the body of an illegal immigrant who has been shot to death. They soon encounter the killers: a couple of locals who have made a game out of hunting the desert-weary illegals. They quickly end up captured and imprisoned by these human predators and find themselves in a life-and-death struggle. Can their will to survive keep them alive long enough to escape purgatory?

SCARRED: SRS Cinema

Bill Conrad will stop at nothing to find his daughter. A year to the day Bill makes his weekly trip to the site of his daughter s disappearance to put up her poster. But on this fateful day he finds someone wandering in the road.
