Although we've yet to confirm the validity, Amazon has set up pre-orders for the Butcher Bros.' April Fool's Day remake, which they report will arive at retailers on DVD March 25. We'll keep you posted as we hear more. The new "April Fool's" revolves around a party given by two uber rich siblings, played by Taylor Cole ("Supernatural") and Josh Henderson ("Desperate Housewives"), for their friend (Scout Taylor-Compton of "Halloween"). Tragedy strikes when a friend falls over a balcony and dies. One by one, each partygoer is found dead.
well i feel bad for taylor-compton that she became part of a straight to dvd horror flick.. i was really pulling for her after halloween... i really like her.
What the hell difference does it make if she does a straight-to-DVD feature? Some are pretty damn good. Theatrical would get her more publicity, but movies like Wrong Turn 2 and Hatchet rock, and they never went to theaters (Well, Hatchet was in a VERY limited release...)
I had a feeling this would happen.. makes me wonder why this is going straight to video, and prom night wouldnt go straight to vid.. im sure they're both gonna suck just as bad...
There are so many remakes going straight to DVD: Sisters, Dressed to Kill, Solstice, April Fools day etc.
I honestly think some remakes can be good if they´re supposed to improve the original in a way or bring their own fresh ideas but too many right now are just getting made so they can make a few bucks
just to clear up that i didnt mean it was a bad thing for it to be straight to dvd, its just shes a great actress and i would have loved to see it on the big screen
its not gonna be much good cause if youve seen the original im sure u know the ending...
