Now on BDTV as well: This evening UGO posted your first look at the over-edited trailer for Sony Screen Gems' latest PG-13 remake, Prom Night, which looks like a piece of crap. April 11th can't come (and go) fast enough. Donna’s senior prom is supposed to be the best night of her life, one of magic, beauty, and love. Surrounded by her best friends, she should be safe from the horrors of her past. But when the night turns from magic to murder there is only one man who could be responsible…the man she thought was gone forever. Now, Donna and her friends must find a way to escape the sadistic rampage of an obsessed killer, and survive their Prom Night.

Looks fucking terrible. The killer wears a cap!? Ooooh wow. Atleast I hope he has some crazy make up on because the actor that plays the killer is very good looking.
Lord have mercy on my soul, but I think this actually looks okay. But it will probably be crap. PG-13 slasher is an oxymoron. I'll still see it because I'm in dire need of seeing a bunch of dumb teenagers get knocked off one by one by a serial killer. There have been shortages of slashers lately.
the FNL cast has a history of being in crappy horror movies... Lyla was in PUMPKIN KARVER, Riggins was in THE COVENANT, Saracen was in RISE: BLOOD HUNTER, both him and Ms. Taylor were in LAST WINTER (which wasn't THAT bad, but not very GOOD either), and now Street is slumming in this nonsense. How long til Coach plays a cop in some J-horror remake...
Even from the trailer, you can tell this should have been R rated. Anyway, I agree with BC. The original was crap and this has a chance of being slightly less crappy. Slightly.
i agree with goliathslasher.. this movie had potential to be a bad ass remake! but not pg-13.. i hope they dont do a my bloody valintine remake like this.. im actually writing somthing for my bloody valintine! so i hope its not being done as we speak!
Hmmm, i thought it would be crap, because they should of gone with the supernatural version... not mary loo but something else, but fuck this looks good, can't bloody wait! great storyline, great acting, great scenery's and great atmosphere alround, but i guess we won't really know till it comes up, but for now it's got my thumbs up!
