Today we learned that Genius Products will release Dimension Extreme's foreign horror film Nightmare Detective on DVD February 19. Stylish and terrifying, the Nightmare Detective DVD will a making of featurette. Read on for the cover art. Investigating a rash of mysterious suicides, a female detective finds a curious link between the deaths: each of the victims had dialed ‘O’ on their cell phones almost immediately before taking their own lives. As she discovers more about the bizarre deaths and their chilling connection, the young cop enlists the aid of a fellow detective who shares the killer’s ability to enter people’s dreams… but she soon realizes that she must face her own fears if she is to prevent further murders.

gishikin 12:46am, January 9, 2008 cant wait to see this...and really how retarded is that cover? the Japanese one is really fitting, but this shit, damn. well, i'm buying the dvd anyway, will probably replace the cover, god its so hideous, just like the rest of their EXTREME titles. When they decide to close this label, which they will, at least they'll have this in their catalog, 'cause every title so far is everything but EXTREME!!!boring,lifeless, phoned in, tepid-even Kurtzman's sucked.Well, Shinya Tsukamoto's THE MAN, and this will be a relished addition to my collection.
