When we saw a five-minute promo from Outpost at this past year's AFM I knew it was going direct-to-video... it was terrible. Today DVD Active reports that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has acquired the film for DVD release on March 11. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital track. Extras will include deleted scenes, and preview trailers for other Sony releases. In war-torn Eastern Europe, a world-weary group of mercenaries discover a long-hidden secret in an abandoned WWII bunker.
