After all of the hype and all of the waiting Steven C. Miller's Automaton Transfusion (review) is finally arriving on DVD March 4 (Happy Birthday to me!) Today the official MySpace page for the film released our first look at the DVD cover art, which will arrive as part of Dimension Extreme's new direct-to-video label. In the film three teens find themselves in a town over run with zombies. Deciding to fight back, they go on a punch you in the throat, action packed, non stop ride through the city, woods, and schools. Read on for the art.

I saw a screening of this movie a few months ago. For some reason it seems a lot of the special popular horror people like this movie - but I failed to find anything good in it. No character development. All characters are stereotypical "jock" "cheerleader" etc. Unlike Romero's films, which build horror based off of the idea of the end of mankind - the thought of being alone - trying to get to know the strange few survivors with you- THAT WAS HORROR. This movie depends on shaky camera work and lots of dumb gore. DEFINITELY direct to dvd. There is no way this would ever be played in a theater - Mr. Miller needs to focus on story-telling - not gallons of fake blood. Anybody can do that?! I know he has talent - so please....PLEASE Mr. Miller - scare us with the story - then dash some blood on the film. I give two severed thumbs wayyyy down for this film. Avoid like the plague.

i caught this movie last year at screamfest, it was pretty damn good in my opinion anyways, good to see it finally coming out to dvd. The cover art is ok, it fits the movie, because its bloody as hell.
