Today the first ever clip from Paramount Pictures' Cloverfield arrived over at Yahoo! Movies. The clip is entitled "On the Roof" and features an early portion of the film where things begin to unfold. In the film arriving in theaters January 18, five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.
Wow, what a waste of electrons. I really wanna see this flick, but what makes this clip different from everything else we've seen except for more annoying yuppies in the apartment watching tv? Feeling way manipulated here.
