Very excited for both of these...i kinda hate how everyone is so mad that PN got a PG-13, i mean the original would have got PG-13 today no doubt...i honestly think it will be better than the original, but thats my opinion. Also i heard the trailer is premiering at Weekend of Horrors on January 18-19 and then with Untracable on Jan.25....cant wait!!! Quarantine looks pretty awesome too!

I don't think the original Prom Night would be PG-13 today. Sure, it was more tame than most other early 80's slashers but the decapitation and especially the the brief female nudity would still secure it an R. Boobs in a horror movie = automatic R ratings. Boobs in artsy movies such as Across the Universe seems to be acceptable though! In this case the PG-13 doesn't really bother me because the original was rated R. It's just because they seem to be gearing it towards the teen-aged mall crowd and not horror fans like us that would even know there was an original.
