As part of 20th Century Fox's 2008 movie preview we scored a look at the first official stills from their remake of Shutter, which arrives in theaters March 21. In the film a newly married couple discovers disturbing, ghostly images in photographs they develop after a tragic accident. Fearing the manifestations may be connected, they investigate and learn that some mysteries are better left unsolved. Read on for the pics and cross your fingers that this is as good as the original.

SnuFFy 11:59am, December 22, 2007 Looks like a typical ghost movie... seeing ghosts in pictures, videos, etc. Nothing new from hollywood as usual, I blame the WGA strike.

Shape232 3:44pm, December 25, 2007 The original didn't have much in the way of originality, but it was a terrific film. It worked because of excellent direction and very convincing performances. Something tells me that the American version won't be nearly as good.
