We broke the news exclusively here on B-D last week that Morgan J. Freeman (American Psycho 2) was prepping to shoot Homecoming for Voltage Pictures (Diary of the Dead). We also announced that Mischa Barton (Sixth Sense) and Matthew Long (Ghost Rider) will be starring in the film begins lensing this month in Pittsburgh. Today Variety finally caught on to the story and added that Jessica Stroup (Prom Night) and Michael Landes (Final Destination 2) will also star. Story centers on a former small-town golden boy and his new girlfriend who visit his hometown. and discovers his high school sweetheart (Barton) has developed an unhealthy obsession with him. Frank Hannah (The Cooler) wrote the screenplay. Katie Fetting and Jake Goldberger penned an earlier draft.
