One of this year's biggest horror box office successes was Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween (review), which arrives on DVD December 18 from Genius Entertainment and Dimension Films. The DVD will arrive with loads of extra features and in an unseen Director's Cut. We've been provided with three copies of the release for you guys to win, read on to see how.

Win Halloween on DVD!

After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger.

Want to win one of three copies of the Director's Cut on DVD? Then all you have to do is put HALLOWEEN DVD in the subject line and then e-mail me the following at submit@bloody-disgusting.com:

Doing well at the box office doesnt mean a good movie which RZ Halloween wasnt a good movie.

It was better than The Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses!

Thats not saying much when you say its was better then 2 those movies,i just saw House of 1000 Corpses which i found boring.

I agree with you, but, I thought Halloween was a big improvement over those 2 films. I was expecting the worst and came out half and half. There were good parts to the movie, and there were bad parts, but the good far outweighed the bad in my opinion.

the devils rejects is a great film, but halloween and house sucks to no end. To should be the guy singing at during the ending credits man, not making the fucking movie. I am not a hater either. Credit were credits due

It didn't do that well, contrary to what the Akkadian spin machine would have you believe. This is probably a no-no in B-D world but I'm gonna requote an earlier post (not that the news has been that flooded in these parts.....Anyway, the final tally goes as follows: $58,247,899. That's LESS (read that, LESS) than such distinguished cinematic gems of late such as The Amityville Horror, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dawn of the Dead (this one gets a pass), The Haunting, The Grudge, The Stepford Wives, Saw 2, Saw 3, Saw 4, H20 (adj.), Halloween 2 (adj.) and of course the paragon of all things horror, the original (which, by the way, if anyone forgot, ROB Zombie said he was going to correct thereby implying he was going to 'better' a seminal masterpiece. How'd that work out for all you silly little Myspace Zombieites?????) Congradulations are in order though. Jason Stratham was finally (and mercifully) dethroned as the Labor Day Weekend Reigning Heavyweight Champion of the $20-30mil. demographic. Seriously folks, is anyone REALLY still wonderring why the Weinstein's made that little statement after the dust has finally settled on this piece of cinematic fecal mediocrity.....

Actually the final tally is 72,428,397 as of December 14th.

Actually the total is $58,269,151. Wow! You actually had me on edge there for a second. YOUR figure represents total worldwide cume whereas the figures I presented represent domestic (ie United States) totals. Therefore every movie I quoted above would also still be higher than RZWeen.

Yeah, it wasn't too great. He shouldn't have TOUCHED the original Halloween. :)

Your fucking retarded if you think the movie sucked. It was great. This isnt 1978 anymore. Did you want it to be just like the fucking 1st one in every way possible. get fucking real, it needed to be re-done this way. And for the record house of 1000 corpses and The Devils Rejects were amazing work.
