First Official Stills From Sony Screen Gems' 'Prom Night'

As part of their 2008 movie preview we scored a look at the first two official stills from Sony Screen Gems' Prom Night remake, which was directed by Nelson McCormick. Already rated PG-13, the film follows Donna’s senior prom that is supposed to be the best night of her life, one of magic, beauty, and love. Surrounded by her best friends, she should be safe from the horrors of her past. But when the night turns from magic to murder there is only one man who could be responsible…the man she thought was gone forever. Now, Donna and her friends must find a way to escape the sadistic rampage of an obsessed killer, and survive their Prom Night. Read on for the still and check it out in theaters April 11.

I think we all know that this will stink....So it better fail at the box office so they stop trashing all these classic slashers. (I know Prom Night isn't really considered a classic, but I feel it to be considered a fine entry into the slasher genre.)

Glad they ditched the supernatural theme they were gonna do to this movie,and just make it a slasher type like the original was...........I wonder if the killer has a costume.
