Today we were supplied with the first official synopsis for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, which stars Christian Bale as John Connor and has McG attached to direct. Here it is! The film is about John Connor (Christian Bale), now in his 30's and soon to be wife Kate Brewster realize they must create a resistance organization with Earth's remaining survivors against the army of robots slowly being built up by Skynet. As they are building this resistance, one survivor happens to be a traitor in disguise, and has a secret that nobody would ever come to suspect.
Damn such negativity!! Bale will not drop out, the script is written by 2 great writer John Brancato & Michael Ferris who wrote the much underrated "The Game" and Terminator 3 i dont care what the T3 haters says imo Terminator 3 was a good movie, at least they aint remaking "The Terminator" and having a similar piece of crap movie like Rob Zombie's Hallowen.
Platinum Dunes went after a Terminator remake and when they were turned down they remade The Hitcher. I imagine more than a few companies have tried and failed as well. This is why you're seeing yet another sequel as opposed to a similar *read ORIGINAL* post-apocalyptic sci-fi war film.
Can believe that guy did Charlie's Angels... i'm official scared, even with Bale on the front line, that is how much studios like terminator franchise, they deliver to the first desperate director they have on their list. Belive me... forget about a second T2... and plan to see a second T3...
N3kr0 remember this: T3 was as good as it could get so don't lie to yourself, the man did whatever humanly possible to close the trilogy. James Cameron himself said he was surprised at how good it turned out to be given the many possibilities it had to fail..it did not fail...THIS new movie is a clean new chapter, the posibilities are vast
