We received two MONSTER updates this evening, so go grab that giant sharpie, walk over to your calendars and write these two dates down: MGM/Dimension Films will release Clive Barker Presents: Hellraiser on September 5, 2008. Will Pinhead return along with all of your favorite Cenobites? We've got our fingers crossed. Also, Lionsgate has decided that they will have Saw V ready for October 24, 2008. David Hackl will be directing and we hope that he'll continue this impressive run of the franchise. On another note, Roadside Attractions changed the release date once again for the 2007 Sundance horror-comedy Teeth, moving it back to a January 18th limited release. Click any title above for more details.
of course they'll have saw 5 ready for next october, after all if its halloween, it must be another shitty saw movie. be careful, its a trap. for more of your money
and now we are gonna get the usual people who are gonna cry because of saw 5 when they should really just go make a sandwich or get laid or something. let it go guys.
The Saw series has fallen off a bit in the past few installment, however, they aren't that bad. You can count on a few good deaths, a twist here & there, and it's a decent waste of an hour and a half. Hellraiser hopefully kicks ass, because that series has really gotten shitty.
I really enjoyed the first 3 Saw movies, but when I came out of Saw 4 I thought "what a great big turd!" I'll give it another shot on DVD though, because I wanted to like it. I'll check out Saw 5 too I guess, but I can't say I'm pumped for these flicks anymore.
People need to make up there minds. Now if this were a sequel for ANOES, Friday the 13th...then everyone would be on board. So what if they come out with 10 Saw movies. No one forces anyone to see these movies. I enjoyed the first 3 but really didn't have interest in the 4th one. I'm sure I'll rent it when it comes out on DVD and if I hate it? I'll live, as sure as I hope the rest of you will too. When I come into these forums/news threads I feel like I have walked into Fight Club. "Go AHEAD...IT'S OK...YOU CAN CRY NOW!" lol.
Amen, david. If people don't like the Saw movies fine. But do y'all really have to comment on every news concerning Saw and saying "it sucks" and what not. No. Get something better to do and just ignore these movies. If you don't like them *gasp* don't watch them. And let the people that enjoy them enjoy them ok.
*gasp* how about this;i have no desire in seeing "saw 4" much less any of the 345667900000000 sequels that will be released on halloween every year until fuc*ing Judgement Day,so i will just ignore it and wont watch it...*gasp* now bl*w me ,"saw" needs to call it quits.....
yeah sure youll ignore it. if by ignoring it you mean posting on every saw related topic saying how much you hate it. we get it. saw's not for you. so noted. we really dont need your dumbass updates every other minute. if you dont like it, dont watch it. we dont care. it makes 80 million without your support. i hate harry potter and lord of the rings but your not gonna see me tearing them apart on other threads. just leave it to those that like it and you can go do your thing. you wont be missed.
With a new director for the SAW franchise I hope it keeps the same feel and style. Curious to see everything get tied together and summed up. Either way, I'll be there opening day for sure.
