Sophie Monk will star opposite Anna Faris in Dimension Films' Scary Movie 5, according to the Herald Sun via Moviehole.net. Monk (Sex and Death 101) will play Cindy Campbell’s (Anna Faris) evil twin sister in the movie. Producers of the fifth film are said to be also in talks with Hulk Hogan about playing a part. No word on story details yet, but either way Dimension Films is expecting yet another big box office victory. Watch for more news as it comes in.
What are they gonna do this time? Spoof the latest horror craze? Don't they realize that all this spoofing of horror fads is going to date the films in about a year after it's out?? Scary Movie 1 is already dated.
I'd love to see a Scary Movie: RETRO where they spoof older horror films going thru the century.
I just want to say that I believe Scary movie 1-4 were absolute crap. I remembered being excited to see Scary Movie and it was awful and I felt I wasted my money and time. Scary Movie 2 came out and I thought, maybe THIS one is good...nope, another waste of time and money, part 3-4 I rented on DVD...garbage. I must be a masochist the way I punish myself by watching these awful movies. I will never in my life spend another second watching such pathetic attempts at comedy. Anna Faris is hot, that is the only sparkle to this turd of a franchise
pissing lasers ftw. there's no way the directors can think that these movies are good, or even funny. i hate these movies with a possion. and the same goes for date movie, epic movie, shit movie, suck movie... you get it.
the only good ones were the first two, the rest got lame and just used campy dialogue and cheap laughs from people getting hurt. i hope this one is better.
first one was the best, 2nd was the worst, 3rd was alright, 4th was better than the 3rd. very tired of spoof movies, although the scary movie series is 10 times better than date movie and epic movie
Date movie and all the scary movies after 2 sucked... The Wayans Brothers MADE the Scary Movie franchise what it is, without their dark and sick humor, it's all just horrible slapstick repeated over and over.
The new poster for this sucks, I can't imagine the movie being any better
finally.. all i want out of this movie is 1. LET THE WAYNE BROS DIRECT 2. STICK WITH THE ORIGNAL SCARY MOVIE IDEAS 3. MAKE IT FUNNY
