'Repo!' Loves Rock and Roll... Joan Jett Cameos!

I have this little dream that I can cancel out every single piece of Repossession Mambo news that hits B-D. Universal Pictures completely ripped off Darren Lynn Bousman's project and is fighting dirty, so we're picking sides. Take a look at the casting for Mambo here and chuckle at their cast and ridiculous $60 million budget. Did you do it? Good. Lionsgate's Repo! The Genetic Opera (trailer) is now in post-production and features one of the coolest casts ever assembled... and it just got better. We learned exclusively tonight that rocker Joan Jett even makes a cameo! Add her to the list of Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley, Paul Sorvino, Paris Hilton, Nivek Ogre, Anthony Stewart, Terrance Zdunich and Sarah Brightman... you get insanity. Now all we can do is wait until April to see how this massive experiment turns out. I'm all for creativity, so count me in.

nothing wrong with pumping a little money into a movie, lets calm down.

Ah, the internet. A place where nerds can be overly negative about something that they know NOTHING about (have you read Mambo's script?) The movies can co-exist. If one is better than the other, then audiences will decide and choose. Deal with it. It sounds like this is REALLY eating away at you. It's just a movie. Sheesh.

please shut up. honetly dude dont diss one of the people who run this site because he is excited about a movie and disapproves of a movie thats an exact copy, comming out around the same time. i am on the same side of the fence as he is

I'm on neither side( unless either movie is good). It's not a musical, and the plot is slightly different if u read from both movies. While this is a straight forward horror movie, the other is adventure thriller. It's like Volcano and Dante's Peak, similar films completly different plots. Btw, they been working on Mambo since 2003 so you can't really go and say ripoff cuz we really don't know who's ripping off who.

GoliathSlasher - No thanks, I'm gonna keep talking. I'm not dissing the guy who runs the site. It's a nice site, but I've seen him whine about pointless stuff on more than one occasion. Buh-bye.
