Coming to DVD this Valentine's Day is Bryce and Jackie Olson's The Caretaker (trailer), which stars Jennifer Tilly, Judd Nelson, Jonathan Breck, Kira Verrastro, James Immekus and Jennifer Freeman. February 14th, 2008 isn’t just for lovers this year with the DVD release date set for “The Caretaker” a campy teen horror starring Jennifer Tilly and Judd Nelson, Jonathan Breck and a fantastic group of teenage up-and-comers. “There’s a continuing love theme throughout the film and we thought we’d play off that,” says producer Jackie Olson.
The picture follows a group of teenage boys and girls as they head to an abandoned house in a grapefruit orchard where they are stalked by a real life urban legend, known as “The Caretaker.” Judd Nelson delivers a disarmingly creepy performance as an overprotective father and the teenagers’ outlandish teacher, played by Ms. Tilly, is obsessed with getting famous by sleeping with a student.
“It’s refreshing to be working on a fun genre picture with good scares, a lot of laughs and not too much gore” says Producer Allison Wilke. “The audience is going to love it.”

SYNOPSIS:
A group of teenage boys out to give their girlfriends a good scare on Halloween/Homecoming night head to an abandoned house in an out-of-the-way grapefruit orchard where they reveal the story of a real life urban legend “THE CARETAKER.”
This classic teen scream hosts an ensemble cast of ridiculously good looking kids and is spiced with an outlandish teacher (Jennifer Tilly) obsessed with getting famous by sleeping with a student and an over-protective father (Judd Nelson). Jonathan Breck (Jeepers Creepers) gives a delightfully creepy performance as the crazy Limo Driver and Jim Lang (John Carpenter’s Mouth of Madness, Body Bags) delivers an original score sure to make you jump out of your seat.
