Bloody-Disgusting has learned that Sony Screen Gems has acquired the British black comedy horror film, The Cottage, which was written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams. The horror pic, which stars Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen), Andy Serkis (King Kong), Jennifer Ellison (Phantom of the Opera), Steve O'Donnell and Doug Braley (Hellraiser films), is set in the remote countryside, about two brothers who bungle the kidnapping of the daughter of a crime boss and then stumble across a dark rural secret.
