Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced Saw IV (review) on DVD, which stars Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, and Betsy Russell. The Darren Lynn Bousman directed horror will be available to in seperate rated and unrated editions on January 22, according to DVD Active. Each will retail at around $29.95. A Blu-ray edition will also be available for $39.99. No word on extra features just yet, but I'm sure it'll be double-dipped. Read on for an early look at the cover art.

Um.....didnt even see it,didnt have to,i already know this is a rental and by the time it comes out, part V will be coming, wich will be a rental as well,so i think a rental price is about all i'm gonna invest in this "franchise" at least this is better that "hatchet" that new "icon of horror" suckes some serious b*lls...

Are they going to release the "Ultimate Unrated Director's Edition" a month before the release Saw 5 or is this the REAL deal?

Cheap looking cover. I'm gonna wait until they bring out the complete set, like the aliens series, with all the extras.

I dig the cover, what else could you really do? I will be adding this to my collection, cause I don't care if they release another edition of this film, as they have with every other Saw film. Im done buying into their " Double Dipping" The movie it self is all I need.

Never mind the cover, let's hope that's not the real price for just the dvd...

It's Suggested Retail Price (SRP), no dvd's sell for that much, unless it's Blu-Ray or HD-DVD.

the cover is just fine, what did people expect? U should see the crap UK Region2 covers of SAW 1 and 2 compared to the cool US ones. This is cool. And who really pays notice to SRP anyways? There are so many places to shop from, im sure many of them will sell for half that price

$30 bucks for this turd? I mean yea it's got a few cool little gore scenes, but it's a terrible film overall. It's worth $10 at walmart.

Thats whats pissed me off with every movie that they keep double dipping with these dvds I love the Saw franchise and I usually buy the movie the day it comes out (best buy usually includes some crap with it) but than 2-3 months later they come out with a version thats like 20 mins longer or whatever its just annoying if they could actually release both versions at the same time but one priced more than the other that would make sense. But whatever.
