In my opinion Christian Bale and Johnny Depp are two of the best actors in Hollywood, hands down, which is why I fell off my chair when I saw AICN's report that Bale will star in one of my all-time fav franchises. According to a trusted source, Bale will play John Conner in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, which McG will direct for a 2009 release. “Terminator 4” will revolve around a thirty-something John Connor doing battle with the endoskeleton robots in the future.
Bale is a perfect choice and would also give the fourth film some major credibility BUT doesn't it sound strange that he accepted? I mean he is already involved into the Batman franchise and an actor of his caliber would usually stay away from such sequels
Sounds good to me even if he's involved in "Dark knight" he can still do other movies,he's a kickass actor,but i'm sure someone will cry at reading this......
Lets hope it is true about Bale being John Connor. I would also like to see the Arnold in the movie to. Cause you can't have ( Terminator) without the man and original killing machine.
Bale has shown that he isn't locked into any niche...he'll do whatever he finds interesting from big budget flicks to no budget indie flicks. Great actor. Should bring alot to the film...if the source is correct.
sounds cool......yep no arnie in the film doesnt make since....arnie=terminator even if it is for a cameo.....who du think would be the next terminator??
no one said he/she doesn't like Bale. The question was how come he accepted to be part of this if, as SkeletonMurderer has pointed out, it was sounding like a non so great movie. Casting Bale is AWESOME and this also means the film will be of high importance as well.
