i'm all in favour of the sequel. Before the first one came out i felt it was going to be tragic but it ended up working just fine and i enjoyed it. I just hope they start giving Freddy some more notice, we keep seeing new Friday 13th movies and now the remake talks but where is a proper Freddy movie?

How about an airplane filled with passengers are on a flight during a dark and stormy night. A crate with an item that is being held in the cargo hold is damaged when the turbulence slams the crate around. The item in the box is a machine that can open portals to other dimensions. The machine actually opens a portal,and the plane flies through it.The passengers see a bright glow coming from their windows,when they look out the window they see they seem to be flying over a lava landscape that stretches to an eternity. The pilots try to pull up in time,but not enough time to do so successfully,and the plane hits part of a cliff. The plane is ripped in half,the back half with the portal machine goes in one direction while the other half of the plane with the passengers go flying in the other. The survivors think they have died and gone to hell.Some others refuse to believe that,because it doesn't make sense since they are christians. As the passengers start to fight with each other someone gets the crowd's attention and tells them what has happened. And this person tells them that if they want to get out of this place,then they need to go and find the portal machine. On their journey through hell,Jason and Freddy see them and pursue them making their journey even tougher. In the end you could have Jason and Freddy escaping hell when they go through a portal that the portal machine creates. Either with the survivors who actually make it there,or all of the survivors die,and Jason and Freddy are the only ones who go through it.

i dont think they should involve anyone else with this.. just freddy and jason. michael would totally own them both, but also his appearance in this type of movie would kill him. he would look weak, with everyone basically having even stabs on eachother (freddy and jason fucked eachother up equally, not realistic)

I really think they should use the script with Ash in it that they made into a comic book. If you haven't read it, do so. It is on Bloody Disgusting somewhere.

Freddy vs jason was a farse.It was a celebration of everything that ruined these characters in the previous sequels.It could have been great but they chose not to show the characters or their creators the respect they deserve.I hope they wipe the slate clean and make a real dark and scary horror movie with the friday remake and they should do the same with elm street. I'd like to see them remake nightmares 1 & 3 and round off a great new trilogy with a prequel.Im not sure that Robert Englund should be involved as i think he's quite happy for Freddy to have taken the direction he went in. Freddy is a child killer and he should be scary not funny. Reinvent Freddy and make him scary again.

Ugh. I'm sick of this. Why can't they just do a straight Nightmare sequel. *sighs* In my opinion F v J almost killed both franchises. I've been a fan since '84, but this was the one and only movie I ever walked out of. PLEASE NEW LINE! Give us just a Nightmare sequel or a GOOD Jason sequel.

i would have to agree with italiandemon ash wouldn't fit this movie but don't get me wrong ash is kick ass but i just don't think he would fit definitly go for pinhead or michael or leatherface my vote goes out to leatherface
