Writer-director-special FX guru Robert Kurtzman tells Bloody-Disgusting, "We are happy to announce that Screen Media Films will be releasing The Rage (review) DVD special edition on February 26, 2008 through Universal Studios Home Entertainment. We are very excited to be in business with Robert Baruc and the creative marketing team at Screen Media. The disc will be a special edition with over an hour of bonus features including a making-of documentary and two music videos. Final details and cover art coming soon!" In the film a crazed scientist experimenting with a rage virus on innocent victims in a laboratory in the woods. When his monstrous subjects escape and vultures devour their remains, they became mutations seeking to feed on humans.
