We pulled a few nuggets of information from a new article over at Variety about the ongoing WGA strike. First is that 20th Century Fox thought of pulling the plug on the X-Files sequel, but it would have cost too much. They also report that the film is rumoured to be titled X-Files: Done One and will shoot in December. They also stated that if the strike pushes past April Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins - the fourth film in the franchise - could be hurt tremendously by it. Lastly, it was noted that Universal Pictures isn't quite ready to roll on The Wolfman remake as they aren't 100% satisfied with the script. I guess we won't know the fate of this film until the strike ends.
About the X-Files name, done one is the code name production is going under (and probably refers to already having done one movie). I doubt that is the true name. Carter and crew are able to come up with more creative titles then that.
