All news from DVD Active:
Xenon Pictures has officially announced Ghost Son, which stars Laura Harring, Pete Postlethwaite, and John Hannah. This Lamberto Bava horror flick will be available to own from the 15th January, and should retail at around $24.98. The film will be presented in full screen, along with an English Dolby Digital track. No extra material will be included on this one. Stacey and Mark have recently married and are deeply in love for each other, living in Mark's farm in Africa. When Mark has a fatal car accident, the widow Stacey misses him and decides to stay with their orphan teenager maid Thandi in the farm. Later, her friend and doctor Doc finds that Stacey is pregnant of Mark. After a complicated delivery, Stacey notes that her baby in some moments seems to be possessed by the spirit of Mark, trying to kill her to bring her to spend the eternity with Mark.
Genius Products has announced Solstice which stars Shawn Ashmore, Hilarie Burton, and Amanda Seyfried. This Daniel Myrick directed horror/thriller will be available to own from the 1st January, and should retail at around $19.95. The film will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. As far as we know, no extra material will be included. The film revolves around a young woman who gathers with her friends at a lake house for the summer solstice after the suicide of her twin sister. Read on for the official news...
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Hyung-rae Shim directed Dragon Wars (D-War) which stars Jason Behr and Amanda Brooks.
