B-D reader 'Pat' writes in with some interesting news regarding The Hidden remake, The Seed, "I had the chance to attend the ROGUE premiere last week. I met the lovely Radha Mitchell on the red carpet, and asked her whether it's true she's in THE SEED (the remake of the HIDDEN) that IMDB says she's attached to. She has never heard of the project, and isn't in it. So there's one rumor debunked..." Now the story gets even better... after posting this someone e-mailed me claiming things got ugly. Read on and see what happened.
A reader writes in, "Regarding Radha Mitchell's involvement in 'The Seed'. I can promise you she was attached to this project for over a year, but she had a severe falling out with producer Gavin Polone.
There is LOTS more to that story, but wanted to give you guys the info ASAP. I work for the production company behind the project. She 'officially' dropped out the end of August.
Neal McDonough is still attached to star.
Production has been bumped due to the director's other commitments, and New Line already filling it's slate for 2007, Q1 2008.
In the original, there's a power-mad space slug slithering among (and through) the innocent citizens of L.A., and it's up to a hardboiled cop and a detective from way up north to stop it in this wonderfully straight-faced sci-fi action flick.

This was a big story a couple months back when her and Gavin Polone got in a massively heated argument at Koi, or some overpriced restaurant in LA, and the next day she was off the project.
