Josh Lucas (Poseidon) has signed to topline Tell-Tale, Scott Free Prods.' psychological thriller being directed by Michael Cuesta, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Inspired by the classic Edgar Allan Poe story "The Tell-Tale Heart," the contemporized adaptation sees Lucas starring as a single father whose recently transplanted heart leads him on a frantic search to find the donor's killer before a similar fate befalls him.
Wow, that sounds insanely terrible. That sounds nothing like the original story, it barely sounds inspired. I would say its more inspired by the romantic comedy 'Return to me" than Poe's story.
that synopsis has NOTHING to do with "the tell-tale heart" this movie will be a joke if it doesn't change its title.
