I think a re-make will do the film justice, I saw the the orignal 70s version.......need I say more. I like re-makes of old movies, sometimes the do over is just better; I would love to see this film updated.

remakes and shitty video game adaps... The world of film needs a redux :/

The original tv commercial for this movie scared the hell out of me as a little kid. I am also totally against the flood of remakes especially for classics such as The Omen, Halloween, The Fog, TCM, Friday the 13th, and other classics that were absolutely perfect in the first place. But, in such instances as Its Alive...it was never a classic in that sense as it was a low budget exploitation (which does kinda make it a classic in its own genre) but if they make this movie with some balls and not some Dawson's Creek cast and CGI effects than we might have something interesting. I personally like the poster art as it reflects the original yet has a nastier feel to it. Once again...let cross our fingers and hope it doesnt suck.

remakes have been around for a long time! and they wont stop.. so get over it! you know you ppl will still go see 80% of all the horror remakes anyway! alot of ppl bitch about remakes, just to have somthing to bitch about! i'd rather see a half way decent remake, rather than more of those stupid ass fucking saw movies
