ContentFilm Intl. has picked up worldwide rights to supernatural thriller The Daisy Chain, starring Brit thesp Samantha Morton, according to Variety. Aisling Walsh (Song for a Raggy Boy) will helm from a script by Lauren MacKenzie. Lensing is set to start Oct. 29. Morton plays a grieving mother who moves to a remote Irish village with her husband, played by Steven Mackintosh, following the death of their baby daughter. The couple take in a disturbed and orphaned autistic girl called Daisy, only for a series of strange occurrences to start taking place linked to the girl.
