It's finally here, Columbia Pictures' 30 Days of Night! It's been a long time since I've seen a good studio horror film in theaters, thank God this adaptation lived up to the hype. "30 DAYS OF NIGHT isn’t just a movie, it’s a ride. Slade takes you out of the theater and gets you so engulfed in the film that you will feel nearly every emotion the characters do. Dress warm this Halloween season and get ready for 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, one of the most insanely violent, scary and suspenseful horror films in years." 30 days of Night was pretty good. a few good gore scenes with that damn ax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw the film and thought it really sucked. The vampires were not scary at all and most of the characters were unlikable. Also the ending really sucked. I was so close to walking out of the theater because I thought I was going to be seeing an entertaining and scary movie but go neither. Why can't Sam Raimi produce any good horror flicks?
