Halloween is only two weeks away and you still need to find a new horror movie for each night leading up to, so why not read on and see if anything meets your fancy.

Kollegiet (Room 205): Review by Mr. Disgusting, "Seriously, someone needs to write a memo to aspiring filmmakers, filling them in on the rules and regulations to making a good film. ROOM 205 had so much potential but was wasted by budget constraints and a poorly executed story. If anything this film is a showcase of Martin Barnewitz's talents and nothing more."

Spider Baby: Review by Tex Massacre, "SPIDER BABY may be one of the strangest films you’ve ever seen, but what more could you expect or deserve from a movie that bills itself as The Maddest Story Ever Told!"

Night of the Living Dead 3-D: Review by Tex Massacre, "Like I said before, neither hell nor high water would have kept me from checking this sucker out. Far be it for me to advise you otherwise. But I maintain that this film might not have felt as big a backlash, or been perceived as any worse than most other direct-to-video zombie flicks, if the people behind it hadn’t been so damn adamant about abusing that precious “name recognition”. Yeah…we’ve all heard of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and what you gave us was nothing like it."

The Ferryman: Review by BC, ""It’s not the worst movie I have seen this week, but it was definitely the most lackluster. And even though I’ve never heard of him, I know director Chris Graham can do better."

Exorcism: The Possession of Gail Bowers: Review by John Marrone, "After everything I had read, and after laughing when I read the title upon its release, I have to admit, its better than I thought it would be. I wanted to hate it, but couldn’t. In fact, I’m going out on a limb to say that it was cool."

Splatter Beach: Review by Tex Massacre, "What they made was a “Camp Motion Picture” for Camp Motion Pictures that completely fails to recognize what actually constitutes camp value."

In the Wall (short): Review by Mr. Disgusting, "IN THE WALL not only displays a new talent that is soon to be reckoned with, but it also delivers the punch. It’s rare when a short film is not only wonderful to look at, but also has some sort of depth to it’s story."

The Burning: Review by Tex Massacre, "THE BURNING has often been overlooked because—for so long—it’s been damn near impossible to get a descent—unedited—copy of the film. It’s too bad that the cult of the film hasn’t reached the mythic level those productions like SLEEPAWAY CAMP have achieved. But with the recent re-release it seems likely that a new audience base—one that grew up saturated by a marketplace of Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees’—will plainly see that Cropsy is just as cool a killer as anyone else in the Retro-Slasher Hall of Fame."

Hallowed Ground: Review by Ryan Daley, "I like Jaimie Alexander. I mean, I like her a lot. But even Jaimie’s undeniable cuteness couldn’t save this blundering, awkward attempt at horror... Tame, meandering, and immediately forgettable, HALLOWED GROUND simply can’t deliver on the small amount of killer scarecrow promise exhibited in its first 30 minutes."

The Insatiable: Review by Tex Massacre, "THE INSATIABLE might not hit all the right notes to make for a symphony of gothic romance but it does manage to play a few chords right—ultimately delivering an enjoyable if not wholly successful anti-love story."

Alligator: Review by Ryan Daley, "A staple of late-night television throughout the 80s, ALLIGATOR possesses immeasurable kitsch value, but as a horror film, it’s pretty toothless."

The Victim: Review by Tex Massacre, "In the end, THE VICTIM is nothing more than one hell of a good idea lost in the middle of an utterly mediocre ghost story."

Final Draft: Review by BC, "I almost considered writing a meta-review, where I just wrote about how I was having trouble writing my Final Draft review, but I decided to be like the movie in a different way: by being lazy and not putting any goddamn effort into it at all."

Offering nothing original and a lack of sequels is what kept the much under appreciated "Burning" in obscurity. It's a shame cause it is better than many of the other 80's slasher flicks.
