B-D reader Drew R. tipped us off to a page on Box Office Mojo that lists MGM as the distributor for Eli Roth's (Cabin Fever, Hostel, Hostel: Part II) latest horror effort, Trailer Trash, which he is currently writing. In addition to the studio, the site lists a release date of August 22, 2008, which has yet to be confirmed. We dropped Eli a line and hopefully we'll have an official answer sometime tomorrow. Trailer Trash is s full-length film consisting of fake movie trailers that all tie together. Click here for older news on the subject.
People wouldn't pay to see it for 6 minutes in Grindhouse, not sure that they'll want to pay to see it for 80 minutes.
So I guess Eli's not doing "Cell"? If he is, he's sure taking his time with it.
His weakest point is his writing. This will probably be his best.
