Bloody-Disgusting learned today that Maverick Red has officially begun casting for Victor Garcia's Slaughter, which begins lensing November 8 in Los Angeles. They are looking to cast some big names in the film, which we scored a first look at the synopsis: SARAH, JENNY and LILLIAN are first-time actresses, heading out to the desert to star in a Japanese-produced horror movie entitled "Slaughter." But it's more than the title; slaughter is the "high concept" of the production -- These tyro actresses aren't willing to become victims... Written by Bobby Darby and Nathan Brookes, the script was the winning screenplay at this past year's Slamdance Film Festival.
