Trailer now on BDTV for your viewing pleasure: If you head on over to Yahoo! Movies you can watch the first trailer for Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which now opens wide on December 21. Stephen Sondheim musical thriller revolves around Benjamin Barker alias Sweeney Todd, (Depp) who returns to London after being deported to find out what happened to his wife and child at the hands of Judge Turpin. When he learns of their terrible fate he joins fortunes with Mrs. Nellie Lovett, the baker downstairs from his barbershop, and sets out to seek revenge.

haha, Sweeney Todd doesnt look that entertaining.

I think the trailer was phenomenal. Granted this comes from a huge fan of the musical, and the trailer is exactly what I wanted it to be. *shrugs* Not the biggest fan of Depp's voice (sounds a bit like an evil David Bowie...?) but I have my hopes. Everyone else fits perfecly with their characters. I'm quite shockingly impressed.
