It looks like Terminator 4 news continues to heat up as our good buddies over at CHUD have revealed that McG is in talks to helm the latest time travel horror flick. According to the site "the script just got turned in last week and the good people at The Halcyon Company would like to get this sucker into pre-production stat." Will McG bring a real reboot to this franchise, or will he pull a "Full Throttle"? Keep your eyes posted here for further developments. Terminator 4, which kick starts a new trilogy, will revolve around a thirty-something John Connor doing battle with the endoskeleton son-of-a-bitches.
I agree that Mostow should return. McG just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It also looks like they're trying to rush this film out to beat the strike....
We all know what happens to rush jobs don't we? We get films like X3.
Please Hollywood learn from what happened in Charlie's Angels and Full Throttle and dont give this guy the permission to possibly screw up a perfectly good franchise. Id take Cameron or Mostow in a heartbeat over McG.
No offense to McG or Vin Diesel(who is said to be the front runner for The Terminator), but without James Cameron the films will even more worse with each passing sequel. He needs to be involved somehow, it's his baby and should stay that way. The TV series I'm looking forward too,but Vin Diesel is the only reason I am curious about this film.
