Something we've always wanted here on Bloody-Disgusting.com is a mascot, some sort of iconic symbol of the world's largest horror movie website. We figured we could go out and find someone to do it for us, but then figured why not have a fan have the chance to see his creation all over BD, on shirts, TV and other various places across the Nation? So today we're going to launch our special 'Create a Mascot' competition, where you can win cash and DVDs, along with your creation on B-D's next shirt design. Read on and see how to enter.
Create B-D's Mascot Competition
Starting today we're asking B-D readers with a creative mind and artistic talent to help us brand the future of the website. As we embark on our eighth year the future could look grim - in a good way!
If you think you possess the talent, then we're ready to see some of your work!
-Grand Prize Winner will receive $150 cash and an assortment of 20 new DVD releases
-IF there's a runner up and we also use someone else's art they'll receive $50 and 5 DVDs
The competition will run as long as it takes to find that special mascot.
Here are the rules and how to enter:
-We're looking for full color submissions
-Looking for multiple designs of the same character
-You can enter more than once
-Please send small files as we'll get the larger one from you if you win
-Also include your e-mail, phone, full name and address in the e-mail
Note: -If chosen, be sure to design it at 300dpi as a layered TIFF/PSD file for future use. We will get these from you after we contact you. Please dont send large files.

Winner will be announced as soon as it's chosen, no contest deadline or length. We'll start looking at entries on October 7th.
