My book "The Five People Who Died During Sex: and Other Terribly Tasteless Lists" just arrived. Unfortunately I'm absorbed in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Beautiful and the Damned" at the moment and I'm only half through. Ah well I'll get to it soon enough but probably not before more books arrive and then I'll have to decide between them. Then there's the game Brink that came a few days ago that I've yet to play. First world problems I tell ya.

Really its just the caffeine thats evil. Red Bull, coffee, tea...if I don't have some caffeine than I'm less than human to deal with.

I have a 5 year goal to completely cut out sugar. I thought I could do it cold turkey in january and quickly realized...this is going to be a long process. Apparently I love sugar and telling myself no only made it worse. And I love drinking...so this may be an entirely unrealistic goal. (I watched a documentary on sugar and it freaked me out, but not enough to not eat it. )

Hungry For Change, its on netflix. My sister kept telling me to watch it and all that stuck with me is 'Sugar is the root of all evil'.

I feel like creamer adds enough sweetness to not need to put sugar in my coffee.

Well wouldn't natural sugar be okay? I find that it tastes ten times better than processed sugar and it's about the same price if not just a few cents more.

I'm switching over to agave. Its a slow process because if I'm switching over then the girls are too (and apparently kids live over processed sugar filled crap).
All that GMO shit is kinda scary too. All it comes down to is taking the time/energy to prepare clean foods.

I should say I'm doing this for my kids, or my own health...but really I'm doing this because my little sister is an 'organic, clean eating, 'i climb rocks' kind of sister' and I have to make sure I live long enough to see her have kids and swoop in a be the aunt that gives them all the things she hates. (if you have siblings you understand, if you don't than I totally sound like a bitch )
