I predict the same thing will happen that has happened on every day that people have predicted the world will end in my lifetime: nothing.

To look at this in a serious light and believe what the Mayan's actually thought, we will just be entering into a new age of enlightenment and knowledge, not exploding into oblivion or anything of that sort. So the people who are preparing for that are misinformed and doubly wrong.

I had a personal theory on this whole situation. Considering that the human brain operates on different wavelengths and energies, what if all the human brains suddenly synced up on the same wavelength and we all became aware of our collective consciousness and began to strive towards goals as a whole race. We would realize that all of our selfish goals were based in ignorance. All of our old buildings and records would fall into disrepair and be forgotten about in the pursuit of new and better things. This would explain why our history only goes back so far and we have lost a lot of our past. Eventually, all of our brains would slowly fall back apart and we would begin pursuing our old goals of war and fortune. This is a completely farfetched theory that I don't even believe in at all, I just thought it was fun to think about.

Or Nibiru comes back around and we gain full disclosure of alien life.

Or John Cusack drives an RV over a chasm

Or absolutely nothing occurs. Regardless, I have to work that night so I'll be in a shit position either way.

Well, here is my opinion on the matter. I do not think it will happen but if the world starts going to shit there isnt much that can be done no matter how much water I have stocked up or how stocked my weapon arsenal is. Or if the earth does vanish in a cloud of dust it wont matter will it we will all be dead.
