We don't need anymore Star Wars .. I love the 6 movies that we have .. Anything else is just a cash grab.

Walt Disney acquired Lucasfilm Ltd. for over 4 billion bucks?!? What a hell of a deal is that?!

They will own the rights for Star Wars then as well?

Nice to see it out of Lucas' hands after what he's done in the last several years to SW at least.

Chances are with 4 billion, Disney has the rights to all or most future royalities, I'm sure we'll hear more about the deal in the days to come tho.

Honestly, I'd rather see a reboot than part 7 tho.

Do better versions of parts 1-3 at least, and then build from there, redoing parts 4-6 so the story comes out smoother instead of all the things fans felt didn't really connect the two trilogies very well.

It'd also be cool is they made some movies out of the stories from the Old Republic eras and even older. There's actually stories, or at least "historical" events going back 1000's of years before the first movie.

Plus rides, exhibits, TV and cartoon series. If you can do series like Farscape, Stargate, Battlestar Glactica, you can do some good Star Wars series'

This could be a huge deal for Disney.

I think they've pretty well done as much as they can with Star Wars, but I'll keep an open mind. Honestly, I'd like to see the series go in a darker direction with CGI used more sparingly. Though that probably won't happen.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but even I have been waiting for a proper blu-ray release of the 3 original films. I hate the special editions.
