Ya, I kinda felt the same way after watching. Bugs.... ugh *squirms* As for the style, ya, it's found footage, but it does a few things differently enough, that I enjoyed it. For one, it doesn't use the same camera the entire time. There's not a lot of shakity shake either in the camera work. Also, the whole "We gotta keep recording this" excuse is usually so annoying, and doesn't make any sense, but here the environment issue actually gives the camera la raison d'etre, and is helped further, by not having the entire film revolve around 1 or 2 people carrying the camera.

I really enjoyed this movie, and would even go as far as to say I liked the science fiction explanation parts of the story, more than the horror, although the effects were good, and creeped me the fuck out.

Gotta admit I really enjoyed this one. Liked how they fit in different cameras/voice recordings throughout the film. The bugs were creepy Spoiler Below

and the thought of something eating you from the inside out is awful.

Only complaint is that it drug a bit during certain parts but overall a solid viewing experience. With everything that is thrown into our drinking water this movie feels more real than some of the other types of this genre film. Actually feels like something that could happen (not in the same way but we are flirting with disaster).

Finally watched this today, it was ok... I didn't hate it, but I don't know if i'd watch it again. I liked the idea of the story...but it felt like a low budget movie on 'sy-fy'.

Maybe it was just because there were so many people that died you couldn't really get into a story line of them. It felt like a lack of focus and I had a hard time getting into it. The parasite thing freaked me out though. The same way lice does...

I didn't get that low budget feel, I thought it felt pretty genuine... Maybe that's because they weren't going for a supernatural concept though... I should watch it again.
