Yeah, I'm not a Marvel nut either, but I'll admit they've done a pretty damn good job with The Avengers, and their individual movies. Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man were basically two hour ads for The Avengers, and could've been cheap hack jobs, and still got the job done. They had no business being as good as they were. I didn't care for Captain America, but more because the character just bores the shit out of me. I'm sure true fans of his loved it for the most part.

I may not slobber over the results, but I applaud the effort. Thor still shocks me with it's quality. I thought his movie would suck the most, but I thought it was right up there with Iron Man. It was, dare I say, excellent.

As for Iron Man 2, it was terrible and felt rushed. One movie you can really tell suffered from the writer's strike.

OK, I'm unable to watch the trailer, but from things I've seen it looks like the Iron Patriot armour is making an appearance? I've also read that it could be War Machine though. I have been avoiding things for this as much as possible, as Iron Man is my favourite Marvel comic.

I also happened to stumble across something talking about The Mandarin being in this?? God I fucking hope that's true, and if it is, it's only been 3 movies too late! I died a little inside when he wasn't in part 2. Bring it ooooonnnn!

I think the Marvel Universe will become very close to each other now, with Whedon over seeing most of their projects.

I wonder if Sony will work with Marvel, I think they'll give Marvel the rights if the next Spidey film flops, which I doubt. But they have said they'd consider working with Marvel, they'd be stupid not to.

The main thing that pisses me off is 10 years ago I was considered a nerd for being a huge Marvel fans, now it's considered 'cool' and less than half of the so called 'fans' have never touched a comic book in their life and think they know everything. Fucking shits me.

I stand by my love for Iron Man 2. Hell I like it even more than the first film (although I think Thor, CA and Avengers are superior). People can hate on it all they want but I enjoyed the hell out of it.

But this one does look better.

Hahaha, that was a general number. Note, I was only 10, 10 years ago. So it's probably when I discovered the old comics, my old man actually has some of them from the 60's.

Most of the 'fans' today though haven't read them, but go on about how awesome it is. It just grinds my gears. Like, once it becomes "socially acceptable" (for lack of a better word) everyone loves it, and the people that liked them since the beginning get walked over by the idiotic masses.
